Delivery and Returns of our 50s wedding dresses
Buying your ideal dress from Lookdarling.com couldn’t be easier as you just buy online and I’ll contact you to take your measurements and go over everything with you before I place your order. As the gowns are cut just for you they’re non returnable so if you would like some additional pictures of the dress then just contact me and I’ll be more than happy to email them over to you.
Even better, why not come to my home studio where you can try before you buy as most of our brides have always preferred the comfortable environment. Although an appointment is needed, I’m much more flexible than high street boutiques so I’m more than happy to fit you in for an evening appointment Monday to Sunday.
As I’m based in Liverpool you could always book a weekend appointment and bring your family or friends as the city has lots of shopping, sightseeing and vibrant night life for you to all enjoy. Don’t worry if you’re unable to come to me as I may be able to come to you (as long as you’re not too far away) as buying your perfect wedding dress can be stressful so please contact me and I’ll do everything I can to sort something out for you.
Delivery time for a dress can be around 14 to18 weeks so if you need one faster I can arrange a ‘rush cut’ service for an additional charge or you can come and try on one of my sample dresses which are available off the peg in various sizes.
I also have a small range of sample veils and headpieces that are available to buy in my studio which will complement your gown perfectly.
Now the boring bit:
Delivery within the UK will be charged at standard Royal Mail cost and are non refundable. If you live overseas it not a problem as I can ship worldwide so just contact me to enquire about the overseas delivery charges, however please note that customs and other charges may apply and that all delivery charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
When returning a sample dress it must arrive back in perfect, unworn condition otherwise a refund will not be given. All postage costs are the responsibility of the client and to ensure that the dress is returned safely I would always recommend using a tracking method of postage such as recorded delivery.
Unfortunately I can’t accept returns on headpieces or veils for hygiene reasons so please make sure that you’ve chosen just the right piece before purchasing from my studio.
I want you to be delighted with your order, however in the unlikely event that there’s a problem, please contact me as soon as possible so I can resolve things swiftly. I firmly believe in the policy ‘No Unhappy Brides’, so if there is a problem with your order please let me know.
